Scavenger RESQ

Denise (resqbarbie at SCS) has started a new Blog for challenges. The first one (resq01) was posted a couple days ago. The challenge is like a scavenger hunt – very cool! I chose this card in Michelle’s (eliotstamps) gallery for the colors; then this card in Denise’s (resqbarbie) gallery for the layout; this card by JoAnn (sarahzoe) for the image; and finally this card by Jean (naturecoastcrafter) for the background paper treatment.
I love how my card turned out – I doubt it is something I would have pulled together otherwise. Very fun challenge Denise and crew – thank you!

Karen, thank you SO much for coming and playing with our debut challenge at Res-Q-challenge, and thank you for this wonderful write up about us. I always admire your cards and this one just adds to the oohs and aahs! Your sense of color and design are always inspirations to me! Beautiful card.

I love the colors on this card! The beautiful baja breeze dp in the background just sets off the striped kiwi kiss ribbon! I have not seen this spellbinder’s label die before — it looks so great here! Very beautiful card! Thank you for playing our first challenge.
