Wicked Cool
August 22, 2010I’m starting my Halloween cards (hopefully you won’t be sick of them by the time I’m done posting – I’ll try to post some non-Halloween cards to break it up). I loved this StampinUp set when I first saw it, but man, I found working with it to be somewhat difficult. Thankfully I found an awesome sketch from PageMaps (June 2010) that helped me lay this one out and I love it!
I colored the image with markers and cut them out. The ribbon is a fine fabric sorta thing. The SU Holiday Mini will have some cool black lace that would really work well on this card.
I think I am finally getting the hang of my sewing machine. While these lines are not perfectly straight, they are definitely much better than my usual!
Colors: Black, Vanilla, River Rock, Going Gray, Pumpkin Pie;
Other: NewsPrint DSP; black ribbon (stash); Mat Stack 2 die (PTI); buttons (PTI); sewing machine;

Too cute!!! I don’t make Halloween cards often, but if I did, I’d be lifting this one.
