Flourished Rose

PageMaps came out with another set of card maps this month! A sketch from pagemaps and a color scheme from SCS Color Challenge and this card was practically done for me šŸ˜‰ I do think I am falling in love with Kiwi – I need to get me some Kiwi pattern paper!

I had a lot of fun putting this card together – more watercoloring and a new tool – who wouldn’t have fun? The flourishes were created using the Making Memories Slice (thank you again Gail!!). I can see this becoming a dangerous tool for me!

The background of the card front was done with the Floral background stamp and craft (pigment) ink. The ink lightens when it is heat set, so you can actually see the pink color. I really like how that part turned out.

The inside of the card was easy – no stamping; just another strip of pattern paper and a pink flourish.

  1. Can you see I’m behind in my blurfing? I really love this – it is so elegant with the scroll piece behind the beautiful flower!
