Hawaiian Hello

Tonight is PTI’s monthly blog hop. This month’s challenge is to use buttons. I don’t use a lot of buttons (they are hard to mail), so I spent the last week or so doing cards with buttons. Of course, then when it came time to do the card I had envisioned for tonight, it would *not* work. So, with a last minute complete change of direction, I bring you this card.

I love this new PTI color: Hawaiian Shores. It is an *awesome* shade of teal. And it goes with so many other colors. I knew I would use it somehow for the blog challenge. Using it as my base color, I added pops of color with the flowers.

The card layout is a sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping blog (ftl83). It was a perfect layout for using the new dies too πŸ™‚

This was such a quick card to put together – the dies make cutting easy.
