As I’ve already said, my nieces and nephews are getting older – some, old enough to drive. I made this card for a nephew who recently took the driver’s test. I used a sketch from CPS (174). It was a lot of fun figuring out how to put the pieces together.
Maybe others have already figured this out – but one thing I learned with this card is that it is much easier to stamp the solid car after you’ve stamped the outline.
You Did It
Stamps: Enjoy the Ride (PTI);
Colors: Soft Suede, Really Rust, Not Quite Navy (SU); Black, Cream (PTI);
Other: star punch, star brad (SU); car die (PTI); DSP (SU);

So cute–you know I love this lil’ bug!! I still haven’t had success in stamping the solid car either before or after the outline! I love your fun-but-still-CAS layout!
Great card for your nephew! I’ve not used the solid piece, just the car outline…so thanks for the tip.
Super cute card! Loving the bug!! Great job with CPS 174!

Perfect card for a teenager learning to drive! I’ll have to keep that in mind for my own son in about 18 months – yikes!
Love this little car and you did a great job with it. It’s kind of sad to realize that both my kids and all my nieces and nephews have been driving for a while.
super cute. i am sure he will like it… especially since it’s the perfect color 🙂
This is so cute, Karen!!!
