My MVP

So the lesson on day 3 was about techniques. Kristina’s video was about offset stamping (which I still do want to try), but it reminded me about a repetition technique. I don’t know if it has a name or not, but the idea is to represent movement by stamping your image repeatedly without re-inking. Like so:

Karen @ Carefree Creations: My MVP

This card was inspired by the current CAS-ology cue (game). I chose to do football based on the Inspired By challenge.

I chose Denver Bronco colors for this card. When we moved to Colorado my husband started rooting for the local team. I too root for them – as long as they are not playing MY team – the Ravens (which they’ve done a couple times this year). I’m so excited that my team made it to the Super Bowl (and even more stoked that the bowl is brother coaches!!).

Thanks for taking a peek!

  1. Karen, this is fabulous…I love how the repeat stamping gives the effect of movement. Perfect card, especially for an athlete! (By the way, I work at the high school where Joe Flacco, QB of the Ravens went…we are TOTALLY psyched about the Super Bowl!)

  2. This is so sweet – it would be perfect for a football playing son! I love that you achieved so much movement by stamping the ball repeatedly. Thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week!

  3. As a lifelong Broncos fan, I’m not sure I can follow you anymore. Just kidding – the Ravens are definitely on a hot streak and even though my beloved Broncos aren’t there – I will enjoy the Super Bowl! I love your football effect – what an easy way to add motion and interest!

  4. What fabulous movement you created with that football! Love the sentiment too. 🙂 Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!

  5. fantastic take on the cue word… love how you stamped the football to mimic its movement through the air! thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week!
