This is the mother’s day card I sent to my mom. She loves flowers, and purple, and Stampin’Up – I got ’em all in this card!
I used the Freshly Made Sketch #234 for the layout.
I stamped my image onto watercolor paper using a grey dye ink. I used Distress inks to watercolor the image. I did find that the die ink sorta pulled the watercolor to it, so while I was going for no line, some of the stamped lines still show up. Next time I’ll try using the palest distress ink I have.
I am so happy this card turned out so well. I really love the watercolor look.
