I had these frosted border dies cut for another project that didn’t work out. When I saw this sketch, I knew they would be perfect!

Simple, simple card – it took all of 5 minutes to put together!

  1. Those frosted border die cuts look so like icing on a fancy cake and I love how fresh they look against that lilac cardstock.

  2. I agree with Jane – the frosted border really looks like icing on the cake. I love that you scalloped the edges of the lilac so that it looked even more cake like somehow. Liz x

  3. Another one who is feeling peckish after seeing your creation! Looks like a perfectly iced birthday cake – would be fab to pair it with a matching cake!

  4. I’m cracking up here because my first reaction to seeing your card was “it looks like a cake!” 🙂 I like how you alternated the direction of the scallops.
