For the Science Teacher

It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge -> #26 – sketch.

CAS Colours & Sketches - Challenge 26

I rotated the sketch:

by Karen @ carefree creations - Science Teacher

This was so much fun to make! This is a great sketch – very versatile! And I got to color!!

My kid’s science class this year was focused on chemistry, hence the stamp selection. Her teacher likes purple, so that is why I chose the colors for the clothes.

To make the scientist look like he was really holding the flask, I fussy-cut around the fingers and tucked the flask image just behind the fingers.

Make sure you check out the other design team members:
Jacqueline
Kylie
Louise
Sandie

I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!

Thanks for stopping by!

A Little About the Challenge: Posted every Thursday, the challenges alternate between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week you get the double dose of color & sketch).

Thanks Teacher
Stamps: Great Chemistry, Smarty Pants (Paper Smooches);
Ink/Card Stock: White, Aqua Mist, Soft Stone (PTI); Black (Memento);
Other: markers (Copic – hollar if you need to know which numbers); Notebook die (PTI);

  1. I love the slightly crazy look in the teachers eyes! It’s a great card Karen – Jacqueline xx

  2. I love this Karen! Your piece of notepad paper is simply genius to go with our sketch. Great image!!! Made me smile lol. xx

  3. This is the most fun and creative take on a sketch I have viewed in a long time. I love how you interpreted the stripe in the sketch. Your image is super fun, and the fussy cutting and out side the box position of it really catch the eye! Love it!
