Chic Butterfly

When I first started this card it was for the Embellish Magazine color challenge (with stitching). I loved the soft colors and knew I would do a soft card. I don’t really need baby cards, so I wasn’t sure what to do. I found a Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger (dress) that was an adorable plaid dress with a giant butterfly on it. Then, another challenge (Caardvarks) was to use lace. Finally, I found a layout that I thought would work well – though at first it was very intimidating – from 2 Sketches 4 You (2s4y#48).

This card is not my typical style, but I’m so happy with how it turned out!

I figured a card so nice needed a nice inside too! Instead of lace (because I’m a stingy hoarder, lol) I used a border punch, but the rest mimics the outside pretty well I think.

Thanks for taking time to visit!
