Cardinal Christmas

So this card really did start out for a CAS challenge (cas76), but I just don’t think this qualifies for CAS any more. What it does qualify for is the DTGD challenge – red, yellow, green.

I love cardinals. There are cardinals here in Hawaii (not something I thought I would see), but they aren’t the all red ones I’m used to in Virginia. They have a read head and black & white body – very striking (see – not my photo).

Merry Christmas
Stamps: Cardinal (Rubber Stampede); Lovely as a Tree, Holiday Sampler – star, Christmas Greetings (SU);
Colors: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, So Saffron, Vanilla (SU);
Other: Woodgrain impression plate (PTI);

  1. Very nice, Karen! The woodgrain window frame looks amazing, and those trees outside look real! Great job! P.S. This would also qualify for *my* challenge–hint, hint . . . 😀

  2. Oh, this is gorgeous! I miss the red cardinals we had in IA & NE, but the one you have there is really beautiful too! TFS!!!

  3. I’m so glad you entered this in my Christmas in July challenge, Karen!! I’m really honored to have you!
