This card was created for a Dare to Get Dirty challenge on SCS. The challenge was to create a card using a found item.
The found item I used was a gold (bronze?) piece of tissue. I’ve had it for so long I can’t even remember what was wrapped in it! I stamped a background image on it with black ink then colored with Twinkling H20s. I finished up by using the piece in a faux silk technique.

LOVE it!!! Isn’t it funny how much stuff we keep because it’d be “great on a card,” but then end up never using it? This is a fantastic use of that gold tissue paper–it does look like beautiful, high-dollar silk! I love how you kept the rest of it clean and elegant in order to showcase the wonderful background.
this is so pretty, Karen! The gold/bronze? tissue adds a touch of elegance.
