MIM Sympathy

This week’s Make it Monday challenge at Papertrey is to make a Sympathy card (mim16).

I always have a hard time making sympathy cards, but I found out that trying to make one with out a person in mind is even harder (for me).

This card happened backwards. I stamped last – makes it hard when it is already stitched and ribbon attached, lol. Still, it ended up pretty.

Thanks for taking a peek!

With Sympathy
All supplies Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: With Sympathy, Birds of a Feather, Polka Dots;
Colors: Linen, Ripe Avocado, Royal Velvet, Chocolate;
Other: Linen ribbon, Jar Label die; machine stitching

  1. Beautiful card!

    I have only made one sympathy card. Yesterday! haha

    I find them a bit of a challenge. I love the way you did the ribbon, I have tried to do that, I just can’t get it. But I will keep practicing.
