I’ve been in love with Laura Bassen’s work for a long while now. Early last year she posted this card that I pinned immediately. I really love the way she layered the negative die-cuts. I didn’t want to just out-right copy the card, but it has taken me all this time to figure out how to CASE it!
I chose my colors so that I could send the card to a boy or a girl (we’ll just forget that I loaded it with bling thus, in my opinion, negating that goal).
Since my nieces and nephews are getting to the age where they are accomplishing much, I chose to go with a “congrats” theme so I’d have a good card on hand when needed.
The general layout of the card is from an upcoming challenge (this card just ended up a bit “more” than what is looked-for). Nonetheless, it is one of my favorites!
Thanks for taking a peek!

Karen, this is fantastic! A great CASE! I love that card by Laura also, and I’m about to pin this one, because it is just as fabulous! 🙂
I love this! I am going to Pin it for later CASEing!
This is just fabulous-love the layers.
I love this card. I have star nesties and never think to use them like this. How simple!
