Fern Resist

Fern | by karen @ carefree creations

This card is for the CAS(e) This Sketch #149 challenge.

I wanted to keep close to the sketch by using a resist technique for the image. I clear embossed the image, watercolored the background, and then used an iron to remove the embossing.

I seem to be a bit heavy-handed with the inking – I didn’t intend to color so much of the background.

Thanks for taking a peek!

  1. lovely card Karen – had quite forgotten about ironing off embossing and it’s such a great technique and so effective. thanks for reminding me!
