Peace and Beauty

This card is for the Freshly Made Sketches #216 challenge.

I’m thinking the splatters keep it from being “clean” – a requirement for this challenge. But I like the added texture. And those splatters – dang gravity! I had this card sitting up on a shelf to dry and it fell down. Thankfully face-up, but a couple of the juicier spots now have a comet tail…oh well.

This was an ultra quick card for me – I think it took 10 minutes from conception to completion. I stamped the pine image on the card base and the sentiment on the Chalk Talk tag. Added some splatters to the card base; popped the tag up with dimensionals, and added a couple of Sharpie-colored rhinestones. Done!

Thanks for taking a peek!

  1. I love the splatters! Especially the “oops” ones with the tails! They add some great texture to your beautiful card. And I love your take on the sketch! Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
