It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
Crushed Curry and Island Indigo are some of my favorite colors – and together, oh my, they are awesome! I knew right away I wanted a middle east flair to the card.
For the sentiment, doing just a die-cut wasn’t bold enough – it didn’t stand out, so instead I used the negative and backed it with vellum (and lots of dimensional adhesive).
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Thursday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).

A beautiful CAS creation and loving the stamped design it suits the colours and the die cut sentiment is a wonderful feature. Hugs Bev x
Oooh love it! Such precision stamping of the two colours on your medallion strip – bet that took some doing! Love that negative die sentiment too.
Beautifully stamped image and the die-cut sentiment with the vellum behind is a perfect finishing touch. Stef x
You nailed the idea of the eastern flair here! I love how you used the negative of the die-cut for the sentiment. Great job!
Karen – this is beautiful. I love how you used the negative of the die-cut – it’s so much more dramatic than if you’d used the die cut itself. Liz x
