I played along with today’s Make it Monday challenge: Spritzed Stamps at Papertrey.
Melissa shared a video showing how she spritzes her images before stamping and gets a beautiful result.
I used an oldie but goodie – Rosie Posie. I didn’t bother with masking, but after the rose dried and I stamped the leaf and used a paper towel to mop up the green from the rose petal; it wasn’t perfect, but for the technique, it worked fine. I did add a bit of splattering by squishing an ink pad to an acrylic block, spritzing it with water, and then using a paint brush to flick it off the edge of the block.
Thanks for taking a peek!

My goodness this turned out gorgeous! I am going to have to take that one out and give it a try! Stunning! Oldies are still some of my favorites .
Awesome card, Karen!!
Simply beautiful Karen! Rosie Posie is a long time favorite and I love how you used it here!
This is beautiful! Rosie Posie was the perfect set to choose.
Lovely in those soft colors.
So pretty in soft yellows. Love your trim too. Haven’t used that one in a while!
Karen, your Rosie Posie card turned out beautiful using the spritzing technique. Great use of the Filigree Border die, which I need to use, too.
Very pretty! Love the soft yellows and greens and Rosie Posie is definitely a great set to use on this technique…think I need to go pull mine out! Love your side trim too. Lovely, lovely card Karen!
That’s the beauty of the spritzing technique – it doesn’t have to be perfect. Your flower looks like a watercolor painting – just lovely!
