It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
I’m breaking out an oldie from Stampin’Up. I am pretty much dedicated to photopolymer stamps, but I do have some old rubber ones that I just can’t let go of. Spring Garden is one of them; I just love the painted look of the images.
The color scheme was just so very springy to me that I had to go with flowers. The day I made this card it actually snowed (just a dusting on the grass) so stamping with spring colors was helpful!
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).
Ink: So Saffron, Winter Wisteria, Pear Pizzazz (SU); Truffle (Momento);
Paper: White (PTI);
Other: Stitched Rectangle die (Lil Inkers):
I remember this stamp set, Karen. I used to have it when I was a new SU demonstrator. It made the prettiest cards. You are making me rue the day I gave the set away! Love your card! Hugs, Cathy
This card is so pretty, I love he butterfly.
I love tulips and I love flowers all lined up, so your card really touches my soul. Fabulous!
Love the stamp set, the dimension of the rectangle and that gorgeous pop of yellow with your butterfly!
Simply beautiful! Love those sketchy tulips and the colours are perfect for the Spring scene you have created. CAS perfection. Hugs Bev x
This is one of my favorite older SU sets. You’ve used it to perfectly show off the challenge colors. Love the popped up butterfly!
Really sweet – I’m not surprised you hung onto this stamp set! I do like the brush stroke effect of the flowers and butterfly x
Love those tulips. x
