It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
I love this color combo! I admit I wasn’t sure what I was going to stamp with it…but still, it is awesome.
Eventually I decided to create some plaid and that led me to a baby card (I know that may be a bit non sequitur to some…but it my brain tends to move in weird directions, lol).
The stamp set is made to showcase buttons. I don’t use buttons much any more as they are too bulky. I thought the set had some circles that could be used, but nope. Thankfully I had a button die. The stamp is supposed to have 2 tiny circles and 1 medium. The smallest button die only fit two. I guess this would be a good card for twins. I don’t need a baby card, so this will probably go in my give away box.
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).
Ink: Mint Macaroon, Old Olive, Tip Top Taupe (Stampin Up – SU);
Paper: White (PTI);
Other: Buttoned Up 1 die, Sentiment Splits: Curved Vertical die (PTI); Linen Thread (SU);
So cute and love that you created your own stamped plaid, very inspiring. Beautiful CAS design as always 🙂 Hugs Bev x
This is a sweet card, perfect!!
Wow! I thought the plaid was patterned paper, well impressed that you stamped it Karen. Fab card.
This is so cute – I love the little sweet peas!
Karen, your card is adorable! Very clever of you to create your own designer paper! Combining it with one of our previous sketches, it’s a perfect way to show off this week’s challenge colors.
A very sweet card and I love the plaid. x
Karen this is super cute – love the plaid with the pea pod!
