Sweet Pea

It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:

And here is my take:

Sweet Pea | by karen @ carefree creations

I love this color combo! I admit I wasn’t sure what I was going to stamp with it…but still, it is awesome.

Eventually I decided to create some plaid and that led me to a baby card (I know that may be a bit non sequitur to some…but it my brain tends to move in weird directions, lol).

The stamp set is made to showcase buttons. I don’t use buttons much any more as they are too bulky. I thought the set had some circles that could be used, but nope. Thankfully I had a button die. The stamp is supposed to have 2 tiny circles and 1 medium. The smallest button die only fit two. I guess this would be a good card for twins. I don’t need a baby card, so this will probably go in my give away box.

I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!

Thanks for stopping by!

A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).

  1. So cute and love that you created your own stamped plaid, very inspiring. Beautiful CAS design as always 🙂 Hugs Bev x

  2. Wow! I thought the plaid was patterned paper, well impressed that you stamped it Karen. Fab card.

  3. Karen, your card is adorable! Very clever of you to create your own designer paper! Combining it with one of our previous sketches, it’s a perfect way to show off this week’s challenge colors.
