It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
This color scheme made me think of Autumn. I wasn’t ready to break out the pumpkins yet, so I went with a vine and gingham combination. The Vine & Berry set is one of my favorites from way back.
My layout was somewhat decided by the imperfect stamping of the wheel. I used the vine to cover up the worst of the overlap. The vine is fussy cut and the sentiment is popped-up but nestled in the vine.
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).
Ink: Fresh Fig, Always Artichoke, Tangerine Tango (SU);
Paper: Rustic Cream (Papertrey Ink);
Beautiful berry and vine image and it suits the colours beautifully. The added gingham patterned paper made me think of an early Autumn picnic š Beautiful CAS inspiration as always! Hugs Bev x
Love the way you used this week’s colors, Karen! Great card design. Love that gingham and the lovely vine and berries! Hugs, Cathy
The gingham is perfect ! Great card.
Oh more fussy cutting! Love that the gingham sets off the vine to perfection. x
I love the gingham too it works in beautifully with the Autumn vine!
