It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
It’s funny. When the color challenges come up, I always want two shades of a color so I can do layered stamping. I finally get that kind of color challenge and I mess up my card (by using the wrong colors – you’ll see that one tomorrow). I’m not one for making the same card again, so I had to come up with another idea. This mistletoe image was one I was thinking about using already.
To get the two colors of green on one image, I used selective inking. The sentiment on a panel helps to cover where the colors merge.
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).

I love this, so pretty.
Gorgeous card, Karen!! Love the design and the way you used the stamps. Can’t wait to see your other card!!
This is such a pretty design and I love the little silver pearls they are a really nice addition to your card!
This color combo is so pretty and I just love that sentiment!
I love the use of the silvery dots for the mistletoe berries! The silver adds a touch of elegance to the modern feel of the leafy images. Very nice!
