You Make Me Happy

It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:

And here is my take:

You Make Me Happy | by karen @ carefree creations

As soon as I saw these colors, I knew I had to break out the piggy set (so adorable!). I used a blender pen to color the image (and now I remember why I don’t like that technique, lol). Still, I quite like this card…it does make me happy!

The notebook paper die is adhered with just a little bit of tape in the center so that I could curl the edges up. Just a touch to help the card have interest.

I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. What a darling and happy piggy image and I love how you have partially coloured the image too. The curling of the note book page is a wonderful touch and as always your card is beautifully composed and CAS perfection. You truly inspire me. Hugs Bev x

  2. Love your post title . . . and how aptly titled because who wouldn’t be happy looking at this card? Love the spiral punch at the top of the page. Great detail (and a reminder to me to remember to use my punch!!). Hugs, Cathy
