It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
As soon as I saw these colors, I knew I had to break out the piggy set (so adorable!). I used a blender pen to color the image (and now I remember why I don’t like that technique, lol). Still, I quite like this card…it does make me happy!
The notebook paper die is adhered with just a little bit of tape in the center so that I could curl the edges up. Just a touch to help the card have interest.
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).

Paper: Powder Pink, Berry Burst (SU); White (Papertrey Ink – PTI);
Other: white embossing powder (Hero Arts); Spiral Notebook, Wet Paint dies (PTI);
What a darling and happy piggy image and I love how you have partially coloured the image too. The curling of the note book page is a wonderful touch and as always your card is beautifully composed and CAS perfection. You truly inspire me. Hugs Bev x
This is so cute. I really like the dancing pig.
This piggy makes me happy. He is beautifully colored and I like the “notebook” paper that he is dancing on. Makes a wonderful layout.
what a delight…got me totally smiling from ear to ear!
🙂 Karen
Love your post title . . . and how aptly titled because who wouldn’t be happy looking at this card? Love the spiral punch at the top of the page. Great detail (and a reminder to me to remember to use my punch!!). Hugs, Cathy
Love how you used the colours. The piggy is so darling holding the flower. x
This so cute and I love how you have used the little note pad die!
I don’t know how anyone could look at this card and fail to break into a smile. The piggy is just too cute! The notebook page is a fun additional detail. I love this! 🙂
