It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
When I designed this sketch, I knew I wanted to have the circle be a window/aperature to the card base. My original thought was to use a decorative vellum as the top panel. I actually had everything picked out and was excited, but then I remembered what a pain it is to adhere vellum! I gave up on that and found some pretty pattern paper (which I have a ton of so it is still a win!)
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).
Ink: Lost Lagoon (Stampin’Up – SU);
Paper: White (PTI); Greenhouse Garden DSP (SU);
Other: Circle die (Spellbinders);
This is so pretty, simple design that packs a big punch
Great challenge and I love your card. With you on the vellum and how to adhere to cards it’s a complete pain. x
Your sketch was a real winner, based on the number of entries we’ve had into the challenge! The patterned paper you chose has a very pretty lace-like look. Super job!
This is so soft and pretty, such a wonderful colour scheme too. FAB sketch, I loved it. Hugs Bev x
Love the sketch and what you’ve done with it. Beautiful colour.
