It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
A seahorse is not an animal I would normally think of for pink. I was looking up ocean animals for another project and saw a pink seahorse and knew I would use that for this challenge!
To stamp the seahorse, I stamped the base layer with a second-generation inking. The second layer is a full-strength inking. The third layer (hard to see as it isn’t much) I used the same grey as the sentiment.
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).
Ink: Soft Sky, Berry Burst, Sahara Sand (Stampin’Up); Smokey Shadow (Papertrey Ink-PTI);
Paper: White (PTI);
Other: Seahorse die (Hero Arts);
Love this! What a sweet little underwater scene!
Beautiful CAS under the sea scene. Wonderful use of the challenge colours too. Hugs Bev x
Such a fun card, Karen! Love the way you used the colors and your berry seahorse!
I love this little scene you have created.
Ahh, how sweet this is! Great CAS card and use of the color combo!
Would never that thought to use that colour for the seahorse but it works brilliantly. Love it. x
Your little ocean scene is a terrific and unique use of the challenge colors! Well done, Karen!
