It is time for a new CASology challenge. Check out the latest challenge – TURN!
Here is my take:
I knew right away I wanted to go in this direction with the cue “turn”. When I was decided on this specific set of images, I was trying to decide how to give it some kick. After some thinking I remembered that I had purchased the Chibi light set a long time ago and never actually did anything with it.
I really wanted to keep this card ultra simple, so I came up with the idea of using the Chibi lights to back-light a heart when the power button is pressed.
After watching this video, I started putting together my card.
Here is my card lit up:
I’m totally happy with the idea. Unfortunately, this was my first time doing this and I didn’t think about how my foam tape would also be lit up. Next time, I’ll somehow do a circle of foam tape around the light(s).
I hope you join us at CASology – and, for more inspiration, check out the other design team members:

Oh WOW! Brilliantly CAS … and love the light!
This is so fun! Love your idea.
The way your foam tape is lit too looks like you meant to also highlight the word “on” — it turned out great! Love your card.
Oh, wow. This is so very cool. Love that it actually lights up.
