CASology – Plastic

It is time for a new CASology challenge. Check out the latest challenge – Plastic!

Here is my take:

Sympathy | by karen h @ carefree creations

When I saw this week’s cue I immediately thought of this technique. It’s a pretty easy technique – just take a piece of plastic wrap, scrunch it up, ink it up, and use it to “stamp” on paper.

My original plan was to stamp the botanicals with black as a silhouette, but when it came time to stamp them, it felt that would be too bleak. I used colors from the technique instead.

I hope you join us at CASology – and, for more inspiration, check out the other design team members:

Thanks for stopping by!

With Sympathy
Stamps: Botanicals 2 (Paper Smooches); Keep it Simple: Sympathy (Papertrey Ink – PTI);
Ink: Limeade Ice (PTI); Lucky Limeade, Lost Lagoon (Stampin’Up);
Paper: White (PTI);
Other: plastic wrap;

  1. Such a pretty card, and a neat technique. I was really intrigued about how your card related to plastic, as I have been admiring it on the DT blog for a while now!
