It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
The layers on the 3 larger butterflies are from the layers stamp set, but with selective inking (the layers are for “straight on” butterflies, whereas these smaller images are not “straight on”).
I broke the odds rule (there are 4 flowers) but I really couldn’t figure out where to put a fifth one and I wanted them off the top and bottom, so four it is.
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).
Happy Birthday
Stamps: Beautiful Butterflies & Beautiful Butterflies Layers, Bigger Blooms (Papertrey Ink – PTI);
Ink: Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Crushed Curry (Stampin’Up);

I was drawn to the simplicity of the layout. The happy birthday font is perfect for the card because it adds a little flourish.
What a STUNNING card!! I have this set butterfly set and think I need to pull it out. Onto Pinterest this goes!!
This is so perfect!! I love the butterflies which are aligned vertically. Have a great week, Karen!
Karen your little butterflies flying between those bright yellow flowers make your CAS card a hive of activity! Little pops of colour everywhere!
