It is time for a new CASology challenge. Check out the latest challenge – FATHER!
Here is my take:
My kiddos are older, so I don’t make father’s day cards for them to give any more. My anniversary was this past weekend, so I made a card for that instead – ya know, for the FATHER of my children 🙂
There are 3 shades of brown on this – the background trees are tone-on-tone Kraft, the “happy” is a mid-brown, the “anniversary” is a dark brown, but stamped only once, and the deer is stamped multiple times with the same dark brown. Using a monochromatic color scheme means I can layer the images without adding bulk so this card stayed a one-layer card!
This challenge is open for the MONTH of June! I’ll keep making cards each week, but they’ll be masculine themed, not father.

Super card Karen. I love the tone on tone idea and then with other browns. Really gives the image depth.
Love the composition on the kraft card. Perfect!
