This notebook and candle have been on my desk for-evah! They will be finding a new home this week (fulfilling a very old promise).
What finally got me to finish the ensemble was a challenge. I stumbled upon a challenge blog – 365 Cards – and the current challenge was to use stuff from your stash (Day306). All the pattern paper and punch-outs (flowers, letters, tags) come from a Deja View package that I’ve had for awhile. Very cool how well the greens in the paper work with the notebook.
Another challenge I found was at sketch at Our Creative Corner (SASSC46). What a fun sketch – lots of layers one of which is at a jaunty angle.
How beautiful is this set! Love it!
Hi Karen – what a lovely group of creations! Way to dig deep and use those things we hoard LOL! I love the colours (I’m a HUGE fan of green!)
Thanks so much for your sweet comment on my 365 Cards entry! I confess I didn’t use my sewing machine to do the ribbon – I can’t get it to ruffle ribbon either so I just got my needle and thread and did a running stitch ;D
