It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
I really wasn’t sure what I was going to do for this sketch, but as I was flipping through my supply index, I saw the jar and the idea came together.
The jar outline is clear embossed on black card stock and then cut out using the coordinating die. The words are white embossed on the jar die cut.
I used watercolors to do the rainbow (I was going to use Distress inks, but I remembered that those would blend and I didn’t want that).
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).
Ink: Versamark (Tsukineko);
Paper: Watercolor (Ranger); Black (Simon Says Stamp);
Other: watercolors (Loew); Clear embossing powder (Filigree) White embossing powder (Hero Arts); Crystal Clear die (PS);
Karen, this is so much fun! The rainbow spilling out of the jar is wonderful. I really like your watercoloring. This card makes me smile.
This is a fabulous take on the sketch.
Wonderful interpretation of the sketch and loving your watercolored lines. Beautifully done. Hugs Bev x
