It is time for a new CASology challenge. Check out the latest challenge – Ocean!
Here is my take:
I frequently make cards where ocean is a theme, so I really don’t know why I struggled with this challenge, but I did. Some of the problem was that the things I tried did NOT work (why do I keep PearlEx powder in my stash – I can never make it work for me!).
My original idea was to pair this watercolor background with a jellyfish image, but that didn’t work (either because I messed up the jellyfish with the PearlEx or I realized the image was too small in comparison to the water). After a bit I decided I really wanted that water to take center stage anyway.
After stamping the palms on regular paper, I fussy cut it out and popped it over the water with dimensional adhesive. The sentiment is white embossed.
There is an extended deadline for this challenge! I hope you join us at CASology – and, for more inspiration, check out the other design team members:

Hi Karen! Anyone who doesn’t read your blog could ever say you struggled with this one. The sentiment is so super and the ink smudging is just divine!!!! The trees add such an interesting look. Your creations are always lovely and I cannot thank you enough for your kind words on my blog. Happy crafting. Hugs– Bharati
