It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge:
And here is my take:
This feels like a different kind of card for me — though I can’t put my finger on what/why. I do like the card – a lot.
When I picked my images for this, my biggest problem was that the styles of the images were different (the globe is solid image and very “proper” whereas the rocket is outline and kinda fun/cutesy). To make them both feel a bit more similar, I decided to give them the watercolor treatment.
I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!
A Little About the Challenge: This weekly challenge is posted on Tuesday, and alternates between color and sketch (if there is a 5th week in the month you get the double dose of color & sketch).
Ink: Chipped Sapphire, Barn Door, Hickory Smoke, Mustard Seed (Ranger); Versamark (Tsukineko);
Paper: watercolor (Ranger);
Other: white embossing powder (Hero Arts);
Your watercoloring technique is admirable! The Earth looks so great!!
