CASology – Spice

It is time for a new CASology challenge. Check out the latest challenge – Spice!

Here is my take:

Not only does my card have pattern paper, but it also has a shaker on it — and I think it is still a good CAS style – yay! The shaker and spice idea actually came from someone else…though I can’t find the original card – it was very cool – it had the word “SEASONS” die cut and behind each letter was a different spice (I can only image how good that smelled!!). I took that idea but made a simpler shaker and added some ground cloves (this card smells so cozy!). Here is a close-up of the shaker:

I chose to use a cream colored card base because I wanted a warmer feel than the stark white (and I get the added benefit that the whipped cream pops).

I hope you join us at CASology – and, for more inspiration, check out the other design team members:

Thanks for stopping by!
