Here is my take:
Not only does my card have pattern paper, but it also has a shaker on it — and I think it is still a good CAS style – yay! The shaker and spice idea actually came from someone else…though I can’t find the original card – it was very cool – it had the word “SEASONS” die cut and behind each letter was a different spice (I can only image how good that smelled!!). I took that idea but made a simpler shaker and added some ground cloves (this card smells so cozy!). Here is a close-up of the shaker:
I chose to use a cream colored card base because I wanted a warmer feel than the stark white (and I get the added benefit that the whipped cream pops).
