As soon as I saw the Fall-to-Layout sketch #97, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
When StampinUp put out their retired color list, I didn’t think too much about it when I saw Handsome Hunter on it. Even when other forum posters lamented the loss, I didn’t dawn on me – what the heck are we supposed to do when we make Christmas cards??? I can only hope that my small supply lasts – or my other favorite company, PTI, will fill the gap.
Merry Christmas

This is fabulous, Karen! Great idea for the sketch. As for Christmas green, I think maybe Gina K has one similar to handsome hunter. I usually use non-traditional greens – one year I used artichoke and moss!
You know, I don’t think I’ve used any of my 3 sheets of this color, but now I’m loving it with that gold!! And I love the gold-on-gold embossing, too!
Very elegant! And so early! For traditional cards, there’s just no substitute for a hunter green. I’m holding out hope that PTI will give us a good replacement.
stunning. i get the gold looks amazing IRL 🙂
