It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge -> #7 – sketch.
And here is my take:
For this sketch, I started by browsing my digital stamp index and looking for things that I could put as the trio of accents across the banner. I came up with a few ideas, but since the Hot Concoctions set hadn’t been inked yet, I thought that would be my best choice π
To cut the cup, I did cut up the side and through the bottom handle to cut out the little piece between handle and cup. Once I was done I just put a tiny piece of tape to hold it back together and all is fine (much easier for me than an exacto knife).
For the cup contents I used Dark Chocolate ink, but stamped off to get a mottled sort of look.
The steam is done with glitter embossing powder.
Thanks for stopping by!

Karen, great idea for the coffee and the steam plus I love those little beans. I love the warming colour scheme goes with the coffee theme!
Hi Karen, I just love this, the stamps are fabulous and your positioning looks so great… May I case the way you’ve positioned your banner and the text for my CAS Colours and Sketches challenge card? π
Great card, Karen. I like all the little techniques you have used! Beautifully done xx
Great job on the coffee cup! I’ll keep your cutting out technique in mind. Love the glitter steam.
