Sherbet Butterflies

It is time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. Check out the latest challenge: #31 – sketch.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #31

And here is my take:

by Karen @ carefree creations - Sherbet Butterflies

Since I have both punches that coordinate with the butterfly stamp set, I knew using butterflies would be a breeze on this card. I adhered the butterflies with a dab of liquid glue to their middles – leaving the wings free for fluffing. The shadows created from fluffing the wings gives a lot of dimension and (hopefully) keeps the card from being boring.

Make sure you check out the other design team members:

I hope you join us at CAS Colours & Sketches!

  1. It’s a good job I saw this before I made mine – I had the exact same idea in my head! Great minds think alike! Your card is gorgeous – I love these butterflies and you have made them look even prettier on this card – Jacqueline xx

  2. These butterflies are adorable with their different colors and patterns, which means this card could NEVER be boring, Karen! I love it!!

  3. I love all those different prettily coloured butterflies, flying off the card! It’s a beautiful effect – far from boring!
