I created this card for a couple challenges: CASual Friday’s Embossing challenge and Cards in Envy: Say What challenge.
Since I’m still working on my Thanksgiving cards, I wanted to create a card for that purpose.
For the embossing portion, I was inspired by an old technique challenge on SCS: Balleek Pottery.
The Cards in Envy challenge is to keep the sentiment the focus of the card.
Thanks for taking a peek!

The embossing on this looks awesome! Very pretty card! Thanks so much for joining in the fun over at the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!
Wow – I love the look of your card. I need to follow your link and learn this technique. Wonderful colors, too. Thank you for joining us at Cards in Envy! ~ Marilyn
I had to click on the link for the technique because I wasn’t familiar with it. You did an excellent job with it! The monochromatic color scheme and the embossing are quite elegant, while the burlap ribbon and the linen thread give a warmer homespun touch. Even though it seems very contrasting, it works wonderfully together to create a lovely card! Thanks for sharing it with us at Cards in Envy! 🙂
Love the embossing on this beautiful card!
