I have been having a ridiculously lucky December (remind me to play the lottery this week)!! Today I received some awesome news – I am the January Guest Designer for Paper Smooches!!
Oh man – and I can’t wait to get my hands on the January sets. They are so adorable!!
Thanks again to Kim and the Paper Smooches team!
My friend Joyclynn (blog) hosted a cool blog candy a few weeks back. I just received my gift and it is fabulous! She covered a cool purse box and filled it with more goodies. The purse is so adorable. It is sturdy and has a magnetic close and leather handle. Joyclynn covered the box with the perfect paper and then added corduroy buttons and rhinestones. Inside, among other things, I found a new Versmark Dazzle pad, flower soft, and yummy PB candy.
Thank you Joyclynn!!
This month is Papertrey Ink’s 2nd Anniversary month – and Nicole and crew are having a blow-out to beat all blow-outs. Already Nicole has given away over 20 stamp sets and quite a bit in other PTI product. The first few challenges were easy – just leave a comment on a blog. But the last few have been creative challenges. And I mean that in more ways than one for me!
Please remember when looking at my projects that ALL my crafting supplies are on a slow boat around the world to Hawaii. I’ve had to beg, borrow, and steal just to make these simple things!
I am hoping that Nicole will accept this one card for both the color and sketch challenges. I had to use paper from my kids craft pad as well as their crayons (shhhh….dont’ tell them!).
As for this bag, I stole the coasters from Chili’s and used them for the accent! Sigh…of course I managed to wait 24 hours too late to post it for the challenge. But I thought you would like to see just how far I’m willing to go to earn me some free Papertrey stuff!
Oh this is fun! I picked up this blog tag from my friend Joyclynn. It sounded like a lot of fun and I had to try it. I hope you want to play too! 🙂
This game involves a few of my favorite things: handmade goods, creativity, and gift-giving. Here are the tagging instructions: The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. There are a few uh provisos, a couple of quid pro quos (said in my best Genie from Aladdin voice):
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It’ll be done this year. (might be a little while as my stuff is still on a slow boat)
4- You have no clue what it’s going to be (dontcha lurv surprises??)
5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog.
The first 5 people to post the tag on their blog and a comment to this post will win a homemade gift made by me!
In your post, feel free to tell me some of the things in life that inspire you and make you happy 😉
